Dear Trader,
the Traders Dynamic Index (TDI) is a trend following momentum indicator. It is calculated from the RSI (Relative Strength Index),
its moving averages and volatility bands (based on Bollinger Bands). It is a very popular trading indicator to measure the market volatility compared to the current relative strength of the market which is smoothed by moving averages.
It can be used in different ways and in one's sole discretion. However traders tend to prefer to use it as a "straight forward" break-out indicator:
