Hello,
In the following menu CFD > Equity > Germany what is this list made of ? Apparently 97 equities are quoted so close to the DAX International 100 (Performance) in the Prime Standard ?
Would it be possible to get the sectors indices (Performance) to related them to the DAX Indice (Performance) in order to finely analyze the trends of the German economy from a Top-down approach, then Technical Analysis can give the right market timing in our Trading strategies ?
As it it today we are blind without any sector indices so it is impossible the use for example a Relative Force indicator for comparison or even a scanner on sector indices, in order to find out which sector is over performing the reference indice.
Obviously we need a certain coherence between the sectors indices (9 Super sectors or the 18 Prime Standard sectors ?) and the reference indice (DAX International 100 Performance indice seem to be required) in relation to the number of equities proposed otherwise any comparison will be impossible.
My question is related to Germany but I guess that it would be interesting to have it for France and UK as well (I remember that the UK sectors where available in the past).
Thank you for your detailed response.
best regards,
Jean-Christophe.

Hello Jean Christophe,
Thanks a lot for your post and the comments.
The combination of technical analysis and the sectors is a very interesting idea.
We did have EU and UK sectors in our CFD offering. Unfortunately the volume on those instruments was close to 0. As the exchange and data provider continue charging more and more for real-time and historical quotes we had to stop offering them.
WHS FutureStation has the possibility to import external data. So if you have quote files of those indices/sector it is possible to upload them and use them for you analysis. Please contact our Support team for this option.
Kind regards
Dominic
