Is there any way to set the expiration period of a stop order placed with the function "SetLongTrigger/SetShortTrigger" beyond the completion of the candle which generated the signal?

I guess there is no such option available as far as my experience is concerned. I think you should restart the process to achieve it perfectly.

Thanks for your comment, but I am not sure to understand what you mean with "restart the process". In an automated strategy, if the price doesn't hit the stop order during the first candle, the only way to restart the process is waiting for a new signal and the generation of a new order, but that's another story.
I would like to be free to set the expiration period of my order, but you are probably right and that's impossible for the time being, unless WHS decides to change this rule, which frankly I do not understand.

you must modify your indicator in a way that the MetaSentimentor keeps the value (eg. 100 or 0) as long as the entry conditions are valid. Example:
